Newark, Ohio- On Saturday, November 7, 2015, the Licking County Veterans Memorial and

Education Center will open its doors from 10:00am to 3:00pm for

“WE REMEMBER”, A Celebration of Our Veterans in Honor of Veteran’s Day 2015.

You’ll discover the history of the brave men and women from Licking County

who served and of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for America’s freedom.

Sections of the Education Center are still under development where memorabilia and military artifacts are on display from many of our major conflicts. Those who visit will be proud of our progress, as well as gain information on how they can donate their own veteran’s memories.

Inside the center you’ll have an opportunity to meet officials from The American Legion Post #85 and Post #85 Auxiliary; Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 55; Heath Moundbuilders Kiwanis; the Licking County Library; and Hospice of Central Ohio.
