            Operation Freedom Warriors

Where We Came From

Freedom Warriors founder Celeste Reichert Friedman is the daughter of the late Leo F. Reichert, U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.  Celeste has toured the United States extensively as a musician and presenter. She is a Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, author composer and former radio personality.

For the past ten years, Celeste has performed and created special programs for World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans, in addition to producing several original songs for our men and women in action. In 2007, Celeste was selected as one of the 50 Writers of the 50 States by the Music for Troops organization. Her original works are included on two of their compilation CD's sent to over 50,000 of our American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. In December of 2011, she performed for local elementary schools in lower Manhattan, supporting the children of those lost in the World Trade Center attack.

Celeste's musical program,"Duty, Honor and Country", currently presented across Ohio, is endorsed by The Ohio Bicentennial Commission and The Ohio State University. Her efforts to support our history and fallen heroes have awarded her The Ohioana Citation Award in Music and Education; a Pat Weaver nomination for contributions in television; and royal recognition from the Office of her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth for a composition honoring a fallen allied comrade in the British Forces.

Where We're Going

It is our goal to reach every disabled veteran in every state of the USA. With dedicated sponsors, we can fulfill our call of duty by providing events that educate, inspire and entertain. Like a USO at the grass roots level, Freedom Warriors connects with your community right here at home, supporting our veterans from the day they set foot back on American soil and beyond.

Our sponsors and exhibitors may include a wide variety of supporters, from educators to medical equipment manufacturers and distributors; from pharmaceutical companies to insurance providers.

On stage, Celeste and her troupe of musical artists and guests speakers entertain, inspire and motivate. Ms. Friedman features such original pieces as "A Home Run", "The Son of A Soldier", "A Knock on the Door" and "If You Believe in Me", "America My Home" and "Where the eagles Fly!"
